Customers complaing about the "looks" of the new lotion bottles, staff calling other salons, new competitors moving in right across the street and throwing up "19/mo unlimited" banner, beds breaking while you're on vacation, nozzles clogging (sunless), staff that want to work 2 hours a week but tan free everyday, flooding (bathroom, or from neighbor, or from sunless)....I could go on

These are the same staff that have no idea what is going on when the DO happen to work and don't take time to read my daily log for updates and sell people specials from 2 months ago, or one-time deals a second time to people who have already taken advantage

Owners usually get to tan for free! And they almost never have to pay retail for the choicest accellerators! There's 2 +'s for ya. Good luck.

As great as it is to spend time here chatting during the slow months. It is the most important time to be proactive. You should have a very aggressive email campaign during these months that was set-up for during the busy season. By doing this you can increase business substantially during the slower months.
