We are looking at a couple of salons in Ohio...Cleveland...there is a salon owner who would like to sell us 2 salons and we would like to open another one....is this a good market? How do I know what to pay for the existing salons?

I would think Cleveland/Mentor/Parma would be great areas...I would like to target Cleveland, it does not seem to have a lot of competitiion. My question is how much do you give an exsisting salon with new equipment and customer base of over 7,000 total for both salons. My wife and I would love to own 4 salons by next season...

greater cleveland is very saturated market. There must be a reason there are 12 salons for sale in greater cleveland area.If the salons cant prove they are doing $150,000 then dont waste your time or you are buying yourself a job.7000 clients?what about active clients in last 12 months?how much new competition?I know of new 20+ bed salon going in parma area so be careful if your looking in parma near I480.10 units or less usually but not always means the only way to make money is to be slave to the salon.Read these sites there are many people complaining about low customer counts and $50 days who own these small salons.
