New Salons...

Is anyone opening a new salon soon? What do you think about buildout...do you like Dry Wall or Pre-Fab Walls?

I have....it will cost us 10,000 more than drywall but...the walls we are buying we can change our branding image say 6 years down the road by popping off our skins and creating a different look...plus it is equipment....so we can lease them..which helps us because of all the locations we are opening...it adds up when you multiply by 4 or 5...I can also depreciate the pre-fab in an accelerated fashion vs. 39.5 years for dry wall.

You better refigure your numbers and write offs and maby reread some of your own posts on leaseing.

Drywall is by far the best way to go.

I don't agree on this one....I have seen horrible pre-fab walls but we found an incredible vendor...and we have changed our minds. I will post pictures as soon as our new salon opens.

Well that being the situation, I am inclined to agree, a woman on bloody marys sure can scrap.
Yes mam D, I love those prefab walls, drywall is the pits, and I think Hilary Clinton
is the greatest thing since peanut butter.
