Make that 2 for XM radio. I haven't used or heard the others but like what was said abouve for less than $10 a month its worth it. As a matter of fact just yesterday I got the XM radio cradle to use in my auto. That way I can use the radio at the salon and auto. Just have to get my hubby to install it now.

Frequently Asked Questions (XM for Business)
How much does the XM service for business cost? $27.95 per month for a single XM receiver. Why is the XM subscription fee for home and automotive use less than the fee for business use? Most businesses, in order to legally play recorded commercial-free music in their establishments and not be subject to huge fines, must pay fees to music rights agencies such as ASCAP, BMI and SESAC. XM pays these fees on your behalf and as such, must charge a higher rate than that charged to automotive and home subscribers. What is the charge if I want a second XM receiver to play in another part of my business? After the first radio at a location, the XM service for a second radio at the same business address is $9.99 per month. Is there a one time activation fee? Yes. Its $14.99 per radio activated. What equipment do I need to get XM in my business? You need an XM satellite receiver with the accessories for business use. There are two radios to chose from, the SkyFi or Roady. For each there is an associated "kit" that provides all of the cables, power adapters and the required outdoor / indoor antenna. There is also a 50 foot antenna extension cable available if the radio is to be located more than 20 feet from the antenna. If required, a 50' antenna extension cable is available for $39.99. What's the difference between the Roady and SkyFi? The SkyFi has a remote control and a larger display panel. SkyFi is modular and also will work with our Boom Box. Roady is smaller than the SkyFi and does not come with a remote control. How much does the equipment cost? The total price for the SkyFi and its in-store kit that includes all required accessories, cables, remote control and the antenna with 20 foot cable is: SkyFi Radio: $99.99 In-Store Kit: $69.99 Total: $169.98 The total price for the Roady and its in-store kit that includes all the required accessories, cables and antenna with 20 foot cable is: Roady Radio: $119.99 In-Store Kit: $19.99 Total: $139.98 The total price for the XM / Delphi Boom Box Audio System that includes all required accessories, remote control, SkyFi Radio and antenna with 20 foot cable is: SkyFi Radio: $99.99 Boombox Audio System: $19.99 Total: $199.98 If required, a 50' antenna extension cable is available for $39.99 ...the dollars keep adding up! |

The trick and the majic to this is; portability. When you order XM, you give only residence account info...but take it to the business to use. They don't know. It works off sattelite, and the coverage is nationwide, so pick-up is anywhere.
