DMX, XM, TFBN,...whats the best satellite radio? - Page 2

My problem is I need a system where the clients can choose what they want to listen to. I know people who might not want to listen to jazz and might want country, or want to listen to reggae not rock, so on and so on. I went to a salon where they had speakers in each room with a a turn dial that went to a choice of 8 commercial free different stations. Does anyone know who does this? I dont think everyone wants to listen to a Britney Sears CD (which people around here at tanning salons constiantly play in the waiting room on their TVs)or one type of music station, know what I mean?

Newport..there is a company, and they work exclusive with the industry. They recently hooked up with XM Radio.

Getting XM Radio was the best thing I ever did. I played the radio and cd's in my salon for 6 months. We were all going crazy from listening to the same music over and over again. also for the amount of money i spent on new cd's......
it was under $200 and it is non-stop music and over 100 stations.
everyone loves it and they are now getting them for their own use.
as far as letting your clients have the ability to change the station in their room...i think it would just cause more noise in the salon of different music playing at the same time. thats not what i want to hear all day

The salon that I went to, you couldnt hear the music outside of the room, but great in the bed... If you get XM can you only put on 1 station in the rooms?
