Making payments only during peak season? What kind of payments is that person expecting from you? I would think he/she will adjust it to where it's like paying 4 payments but equivalent to 12 payments? Does that make sense? For example if payments was normally $100 per month for the 12 month than are they expecting $300 per month during peak season (which is normally 4 months out of 12. Anyways, just thought I'd throw that in? Hope the other salon owners know what I'm trying to say here. It's like me financing my beds with the "seasonal option". I have a higher payment during Jan - June, than July thru Dec payment drops down. As for off season, just be sure you have some money aside to pay for rent, electric, phone, etc. Good Luck!

Thanks everyone, the more I think about it I'm thinking it might not be a good idea. But it is an awesome deal if we were able to do it. engfant we only have to make payments towards the purchase of the salon during busy season. The remainder of the year we are responsible for rent, utilities etc. tanu I'm not sure how much the owner would be sticking their noses in, that's one reason they're letting this salon go, they don't have the time to devote to it. X-Treme you are right it's like the payments are consolidated to that 3 month period but if we do next year what this salon did this year it won't be a problem. I just wish I had enough money set aside to do this, I know it would be fun. I'll let you guys know what we decide!
