Has anyone here do the mobile airbrush tanning? I am thinking of going this route vs renting a spot in a salon. Just until I see how well the community responds. Any suggestions out there?
We have a fair comming up and I thought about getting my mobile unit on the vendor list. My concern is how do people prep themselves for that day.a

I have never done it, but did get a call a few weeks ago from someone who was thinking about it and ask my opinion on it....

a mobile tanning business is a great way to start off. So many women who have been in the corporate world for years are switching gears and doing this because they can set their own schedules and have fun. As far as a fair setting though, be carefull because people may be hot. Sweat and tanning solution do not mix. It would be a very inexpensive way to introduce people to the idea and get your information out. Good luck

With mobile spray tanning, you may want to consider a LVLP/HVLP system rather than airbrushing. Airbrushing takes 25-45 minutes per client and LVLP/HVLP takes less than 5 minutes. You can also use a spray-on exfoliator if the client hasn't had an opportunity to shower and use an exfoliating product. That would be too time consuming with an airbrush system. You spray on the exfoliator and while the skin is wet, you use dry paper towels to rub it off. You do one section of the body at a time and the whole process takes about 5 minutes. Then you are ready for the tanning spray. If we can help you with such a tanning system, please check us out at
