Have you even received a catalog from anywhere? There is pricing in there - if you pay the amount that the bed is listed at - you have paid TOO MUCH. I don't have pricing memorized - I just bought a new Sonnenbraun - I was miss quoted and got one heck of a deal. Do I want to share the price - NO. And now for my reason - I do not want YOU calling them telling them what price I got it for - I'm sure I would get the shaft next time to make up for that. Beds are like cars - there can be negotiation.

THANK YOU SUNLOUNGE... lots of love comin your way... (I did get sontegra, but you left out the price)
My point here is simple, I found this place avoiding the whole issue and questions, why, I dont know
but I am trying to break that in this thread. This forum is awesome, but very avoiding.
I am new here at tantalk, and not bored today, but I do like the sales stab at the end of you post.

The whole point here is if you truly belive in Sharing information, then why is it not freely shared,
my guess was because most of you were sales reps avoiding a price war, or salon owners afraid to say
what they use or how much they paid because of their competition.

Cantanner... ETS has a great catalog, with low prices... do you really think that is more valuable
than what you might have to share??
Why dont you give us some insight on tropical rays, do you own one? what value do you get for $3900 and how do you customers like the short bed? What was its resell value when you dumped it?

enquiring tanners want to know??

Do you have negotiating skills? If so, then when they total ya all up and it comes out to be book pricing - then bend over the distributor is driving. If you come back with something and get the price lowered then Kudos to you. You get a good deal and they still make money.

I do not have tropical rayz I have Sonnenbraun. I have not sold one yet - I would recommend them but not for someone on a tight budget. You wanted pricing - TropicalRayz has that pricing your longing to see. It was an example - I do not have ETS - so you do not come back with "how are my ETS beds doing" To review = I have Sonnenbraun.

thanks for the input Cantanner.. I like sonnenbraun too...
what models you have? what you Pay?, how do your customers like them?
how do you like them?

did you pay book or what did you do (increas quantity) to get your discount
if any.

I realize that I may be pushing hard here, but before I made my very first post
I read everything back to 2003... and was amazed at the lack of real answers.
If a newbie is here, it is because he or she is doing their homework and research,
thats how they found the place. To say... do some research is crap... thats what
they are doing, what they need from YOU the more experienced and well rounded
tanners is insight. To see a catalog list a bed at 7500 is fine, but is it worth
7500 or can you the same quality for less.

The simplest newbie questions were avoided, thus the purpose of this post...
ps... cant wait till I get in the salon owners thread... }:-0

and if tanners (salon owners) really did unit... there would be no ETS issues

I have the Klassik 735 - I paid less than book - Customers like them - especially the "well fed" ones. I like it - it's a pain to clean - you just have to be in an akward position. Yes, increase quantity. One more time though - I have Sonnenbraun - I do not know the quality of other brands. So, speaking of avoidance - are you opening a salon?

I am not a current salon owner or a sales rep of any kind, I am not a typical
newbie, I am new to this forum and I am a research analyst by trade. The wife
would like a new salon and she will get it. Not able to make it to the tradeshow
this year, and I find them very un-realistic. great to see all the new glitz, but
WHAT IS MOST VALUABLE... IS PERSONAL INSIGHT AND INPUT. I can go to every tanning
salon within 500 miles, a 20 minute tan at each is not going to tell anyone anything.

Now talk to someone who owns that unit, tans in that unit, maintains and or pays for
that unit...****, even sells the unit used... resell value is important especially
when you upgrade.. you get the real goods. Every catalog says this is the one.. this is the
best...Every sales rep (their posts are so obvious here) says the same... I call BullS!!t.

Every salon owner wants value in a bed... is a sunvision zx30 a good
bed?? well if you ask me, sure for $2500 yes, but here is a list of issues... and if you doing
a 50+ tanners a day, you are unrealistic to think it will survive.(this comment gives more insight than... a you get what you pay for)

same with the new sun dash(wrong spelling on purpose to avoid those biased adwords) and ergolines... are they worth it... well it depends what price
you put on plastic looks?? do your customers need the star trek feel??
but I dont own one to truely comment.

i've posted exactly what i paid for my beds in another thread... i've seen a few threads with EXACT numbers posted... try searching just a bit more. unless my thread was edited or deleted, sould be easy to find if searching for my posts. good luck. i have nothing to hide, so ask away or PM me anytime.

Edit: i feel that as salon owners, it would be of great help for everyone to compare what they are getting beds/lotions for... perhaps only int he OWNERS forum? i know car dealers do this and it works for them... why is everyone soo tight with their info?

Well, I just got home from work and.....arn't we having fun!!! My point is a simple one. I would like to know how many customers each of you got in your first mont, second month and third month..especally if they were January, February and March. I DON'T CARE what part of the country you are in or ANYTHING else about you. I just whould like to know the numbers, I will make my own judgements on them later.

Again, I DON'T CARE if the situation if like mine, or close to mine or a mile apart from mine. Just the numbers please

Thanks
