You want to spray with a horizontal pattern. You move vertically down the body. Mist the hands and feet lightly. They are dry and absorb the solution quickly. If you have the client raise their arms up in the air it is easier to get the undersides of the arms and pits. You should overlap your sprays 50%. I don't know what system you are using, but mine is from Jamaica Me Tan. On the back of the spray gun there is a round knob that adjust the width of the spray. Turn the knob to off position. Imagine that being 6pm, turn counter clockwise to 1pm - this is a good level to spray at for the arms and face and legs. If you turn it to 11am, that is a good width to do the back and chest. Much higher than that you will be flooding the skin and also causing a lot of overspray. I just did a trade show and sprayed 150+ people in a PVC spray booth and only had to use 2 baby wipes to wipe off the overspray on the poles. Hope this helps!

Look up www.airbrushbodyart.com which teaches you how to spray. Some more tips: Have client put a fine film of moisturiser on feet, knees, elbows and hands and in the small area close to the under arm. This will stop those dry spots from absorbing too much colour. Also do not spray too close to the client untill you learn better control of your airbrush. Stand back a little. The spray will be finer and less likely to go on too thickly. As you gain experience, you can spray up very close to the client. Have lots of ideas if you need them.
