Honestly mouthlybrat, you are saying some things that make so little sense it's uncanny. I don't know everything but it's like you have absolutely no idea. Base of Tyrosine? What? Tyrosine is an amino acid that is VITAL to the whole tanning process. 99.9999999999% of the tanning lotions on the market are either aloe or water "based". The only Tyrosine based product is a oral supplement that is just Tyrosine and gelitan or some filler. The lotions that wouldn't contain at least some form of tyrosine is a Tan Extender or everyday moisturiser or cheapo goo.
And let me just say DAM. Legal action? I think Jerry Springer has a few sponsers that would take a piece of that. Seriously, where the **** is the Soakin UTR dude when you need him? Or any lotion junkie for that matter. WE NEED AN EXORCISM IN HERE!

The information that I stated regarding tyrosine based lotions is

WORD FOR WORD FROM THE TANNING FACT BOOK PRINTED BY VIRGO PUBLISHING FOR LOOKING FIT MAGAZINE!

If you have a problem with what it says:

TAKE IT UP WITH THE PEOPLE WHO PUBLISHED THE BOOK!

What part of that is so hard to comprehend?

wow... could we get some help with this from a lotion manufacturer.. perhaps a chemical engineer that makes lotions for a living... they might be able to help... why is everyone taking this debate so personal... e are mearly exchanging idead not anger... so what if your wrong or wright... thats the whole point of the forum to be less wrong. if that makes any sence. It's maybe your all right.. did anyone think that it could be possible for the body to develop a tan while being supported in different ways.. lets face it you can get a tan without lotion.. and the meare use of it regardless of when to some degree will enhance the effect. well i definatly have alot to learn so let me not say anymore... how does learn the truth about this? i meen the lotion companys are gonna tell you to put the lotion on as many times as possible... after all they make money when u use there product. Now what i do see as brilliant is that you can tell your customers to use thre lotions more often... this will drive up lotion sales...

Dan,

Thank you for pointing that out. There is no reason for any of this to be a personal attack on anyone. The information itself, yes, the person offering it, no! However, some people don't understand that the information and the person are two entirely different issues and that is where they cross the line!

Well, we just sell what works. If the client likes it and it sells well, then it seems to work. If the product does not seem to have much effect and sales are slow, we sell it out. We are always asking clients how they like the products and we always try the products ourselves.

How hard is it to do that?

As for Tyrosine, maybe its old industry. Take AG Dark Tanning Accelerator. The 2003 product has no Tyrosine in it but I found a bottle from 1994 that has Tyrosine in it. It looks like its the 15th ingredient down the list and it says to "Use daily, mate!" on the back under the directions for use. So maybe products with Tyrosine should be used daily weather tanning or not but newer products do not require so. Just look how far along lotions have come in the past ten years and not all book writers are experts.

"Use daily, mate!" Of course it says that, the more they can get you to use the faster you'll be buying another bottle of their goop. No L-Tyrozine, no quality? I don't have one lotion on my shelf, low-end or high-end that doesn't list some amount of it as an ingredient.

Mouthy brat- what a f__king idiot you made yourself out to be by threatening legal action. That is what every crackhead on "cops" does. Do me a favor and include me in your lawsuit cause you are now obviously the dumbest a$$hole on this site.
