T-Max is a tanning salon control system.
A front desk controller connects to a computer and digital timers are installed in every room. Most new beds now come with T-Max timers integrated into the tanning unit. Dan Boone, ADI (manufacturer of T-Max) _________________ [ This Message was edited by: Dan Boone, ADI on 2004-05-28 23:48 ] |

Wow!! talk about testamonials..... the people i work for created a system that uses smart card systems that track employee log hours and activity use of the smart card givin to them by the owner as there time card.. the sytem they have in place now is, in place in several salons ... this system takes money via machine and gives a smart card back.. ( hence no cash for tanning between customer and employee..) the smart card that the client recieves..from the machine, has a value on it.. the value card is then handed to a certified tan attendant.. and the bed is activated through dualsafty devices..and timers. and the value is deducted from that card.. and a new running balance is held on the cards mem. Example...money is givin to the machine ( up to $100.00 bills ) and a value is placed on the card.. and givin to the person who puts in the money.. lets say that value is twenty dollors. if a visit is eight..you have a balance on your card of twelve.. that value can go to a purchase of a tanning product also via our vending machines..these vending machine place the products nicely with full view of the contents and are safe in a re-enforced steal frame.. no theft from customers who like to take some home for free when your not looking.. and no cash in hands or access to inventory for anyone to take.. good solution to the old problems of theft in a salon... the system works well check it out...

With proper and vigilante owner management you don't need a bunch of high tech impersonal Year 2300 garbage. Maybe clients should have to be searched before they come in and after they leave. Should we have a "buzz" door before we let them in? Retina and thumbprint scanning, credit and criminal background checks might be in order?

I would learn how to use the suntouch software properly and monitor it. also make them inventory every shift. next put the camera facing the register as suggested before. last but not least....once you catch someone stealing make an example of them... bring them in the back, take the hand they stole with and break it with a hammer. good luck

We do cavity searches before a client leaves. The cost of rubber gloves is included in our monthly pricing. Initially this was not well recieved but I explained that like the sign-in sheet it is a necessary step in the tanning routine. That they understood and now form a line to drop trou before leaving. Customer satisfaction is the highest its ever been.
