I did not punish everyone because I did not know who stole. I punished everyone who did not do their job. If each person would have written down the amount upon opening and closing as they are supposed to I would have known who the thief or thieves were. If fill that by not doing their job they all contributed to the stealing of the money. I have no problems now with everyone counting the register. I have people alert me now even if we are $1.00 short or a $1.00 over when the shifts change. I feel as though everyone should have to take their job serious and be held accountable when they do not perform the tasks they were hired and agreed to do upon date of employment.
