One thing you should never do, as pointed out somewhat already, is base your price on what the competition is charging. Especially if your equip. is newer/better, your training is better, your salon is cleaner, your service is superior etc.. Keep regular prices high for sure, that way any specials you run are perceived as a great value. Don't get into a price war with anyone, stand your ground continue to provide superior service and QUALITY tanning and you will do well. Be realistic. You will have lots of expenses to cover. Do a break-even analysis, see what you need to do to stay in business, then provide the tanning results and customer service to achieve that goal.
