Bed Tents - Useful or Nuisance??

Do you place these on your beds?

Do you find them useful or a nuisance?

I do use them, but have had a few broken; Client doesn't see it when getting into the bed. Also, I don't use them during the busy season, takes more time to clean and place on the bed. Usually, there is someone standing there waiting to get in.

Useful or nuisance??? Required or not??

We just put the towel and sucker on the bed, clients know the bed it ready for them that way.
Didnt care for the tents, was a pain to remember to wipe it down and putting it back.

Removed them last year and placed on a shelf in each room. Couldn't keep up with moving, cleaning, breaking, replacing. Slowed us down in busy season.

I use them but they are a nuisance. They show finger prints badly and do take extra time to keep clean. Seems wrong to say the bed is clean when the sign is greasy with lotion prints. I hadn't considered not using them but I may. I used the ones from Brenda at EyePro for awhile but they never got cleaned because they don't show prints so I replaced them with the clear ones again.

I have a few left of the clear tents, but switched to the signs from Cal Tan that look like lotion bottles. I like those better. The bottle fools people; Shortly after they get into the room, they come back out to tell us someone left their lotion, funny!!

I had the same experience like OhsoTan with the cal tan bottle - but a client stole it - must had thought they could use the bottle - didn't want to buy anymore

We did use the bottles for a while, clients would bring them out before getting in the bed and say "someone left there lotions" it was so funny, we stopped using them too.

Yeah we got tired of telling tanners that it wasn't free lotion, and that it was just a sign to let them know the bed is ready.

Starting to get tired of taking the extra time with the tents also.

We got rid of our bottles too. Customers asked if they had to use that lotion. I got tired of explaining it.

I think it presents a nice appearance with the tent on the folded towel in the bed. Yes, a few break here and there but I spend for money during a sneeze that what these cost. The sanitized sign is extra assurance to your customers that the bed has indeed been cleaned by staff.
