ok im taking a deep breath before i start .........
im in need of some serious help here i live in california and i called the state and city i live in and they are telling me that no one regulates tanning salons...this cannot be true arent there codes ????? the fire dept tells me for a 1500 sq ft building all i will need is a fire extinguisher.... what? is this true ? any way i have called the fda because some one said tanning beds are considered medical equipment ..never heard that before they said !!! so am i not asking the right questions here or what??? i am about a week away from getting my location and i will go through all the paper work will all of the licensing agencys anf tax id #s but my major concern is i know there are going to be hidden costs and i have really tried to find them but they must be really hiding good because im getting nothing when i look so could anyone please help me what were some the hidden costs that all of you ran into .....thanks so much anyone know a good insure way to go for tanning salons????? |

Many states are not regulated. To find out for sure if yours is you can call Smart Tan www.smarttan.com . You are probably not missing any hidden fees here. FDA regulations are pretty simple, you can also get a copy of these at www.smarttan.com .
