New tanners do not know what an indoor tanning product is the first time they enter a salon. All the care about is how dark they are getting! We are in the cosmetic business, tanners come to a tanning salon to get tan. We must educate new tanners about using indoor tanning products and how they help them build and keep their tan. The goal is to build the link between using your beds, using an indoor tanning product and getting tan.

tanning session. The key is to open your doors and educate tanners about tanning products from the first day they visit
your salon.

It also means that New tanner are learning from the beginning that well hydrated skin is a must to maintain health skin.
Using lotion is going to help that customer reach their tanning goals faster . but It is Also going to help the customer maintain a healthy balance to their skin.
A great after tan is a awesome partner in lotion packages to promote healthy tanning as well.
This will prevent most from problems later in life. Catch the client early in their tanning history. we won;t have to deal with the.....
clients that are 30+ and have NEVER used lotion before!!!

Don't you just hate those that come in and say, "I never use tanning lotion because I tan better without it." They are the ones that I have a hard time convincing otherwise. Best way I have found is giving them a free sample of a really highend lotion. Then most of the time they will see the "Light" Or in this case the "TAN"
