My first tanning experience - Page 2

My first time wasn't bad. Felt like an idiot though. It was at a health club, a few years back. Another girl was going to try it, but panicked. She screamed. Something about closed in spaces. I decided to try it. I came out saying how tan I got. What an idiot. I can't beleave how dumb I was. I was pink, not tan. I only went a few times. The place soon closed.

A year later, my sister told me about a place she was going too. It was there that I first experienced the stand up. Now that scared me. It took me a while to get past it. Now I love them.

We all know of stories that have happend to one of our friends or ourselves..
The idea that it still goes on is what makes us stand up and shutter...

WE are at this time looking into a few apartment complexes who offer tanning to the residents who live there.

Unsure if they get a key to the room..or coins...or how it works, but we are aware that this is going on.
My big question is this are these beds licensed just like we as a facility have to be?
Or if it's free...maybe it is viewed like a "home unit".
I will try to get these answers as soon as we free up a little time during the days..

My first experience was in a health club. There was a dressing room in the corner with a curtain for a door. They had bulbs mounted to the walls and there was a minute timer you turned to how many minutes you wanted. Kind of like the ones you see on steam rooms today. You stood on a small stool so your legs would be exposed also. I never did get any color from tanning there but my sister-in=law got very burnt. Seems she was turning the dial back on and stayed way too long.

I agree that the tanning industry has come a long way over the years!!

Yes!! yes!!
those early youthful days with tanning lamps at home I had one too, used to burn yah in 3 minutes flat!
Also remember using public beds that would get yah pretty red too, Salon owners have come alond way in regards to the safety of there clients..
