I know location, time of year, equiptment, advertising, customer service, etc. all play a roll in how a start up salon will do but I'm working on my sba loan and need to do a cash flow analysis. Can anyone give me a base idea of beginning customer counts and increase in business each month? The county in Fl. has population of about 110,000+ (96% white), 4 actual salons, a few hair salons with a bed or two.Any idea on what figures to start with and % of increase in customer flow would be helpful. Thanks ahead of time.JillP.S. The inability to spell is heredity, lets all blame my parents :>)

Well, there might be others here who can provide actual facts by which to advise you on how to write your business plan. If you don't get what you're looking for, I can share some of my "guesswork" with you via e-mail. I do not own my own salon yet and have already finished my business plan. There is a formula that I developed to at least give me a platform to start with. My e-mail is bronze_star_tanning@yahoo.com Drop me a line here if no one else gives you some experience based advice. I know JeffinKC is a good sorce of information too.------------------Laurie
