UPDATED SOLUTION POLL 2015

Hey all!

I know there are a ton of threads on what solutions to use, but most are old, so let's update! What is your solution of choice presently in 2015? If you don't see your listed in the poll, feel free to add it in the thread!

I use South Seas now with very positive feedback from my customers..... but I had purchased St. Tropez previously because of it's reputation... but I'm not trilled with their results. Anybody have personal experiences with St. Tropez? I've had a couple customers complain that it faded into blotchiness. Never an orange problem however with either of these products.

St. Tropez has to be one of the worst products to spray with. Very "foggy" when you spray, probably down to alcohol in the solution. I hear a lot of people saying it wears badly with patchy fading and I know from personal experience it doesn't suit very fair skins. It's basically a one size fits all brand, although they do now have another option.

Thanks for the feadback.... as I suspected. Is Norvell better than St. Tropez?

I use South Seas for some clients, pretty color, but I just don't like that it is only 1 level. Sjolie is what I use overall tho. Novell's venetian is pretty for darker tones, but the company has the WORSE customer service.

I've also been playing around with Sol Potion, does anyone have any thoughts on this line?

We use Norvell. Venetian is our top seller - including for the booth. Not sure how their customer service is poor as I have always been taken very well care of anytime I contact them for any reason. I have tried almost any that are out there and would not put any others on a paying customer of mine.

Re: UPDATED SOLUTION POLL 2015

I'm currently using Kahuna Bay Tan Melange.
It's SUPER thick, but I have found that it really "sticks" to clients who are somewhat DHA resistive. It's a nice dark brown color & lasts a good 7-8 days. It's the warmest going on too. (They even advertise it as a warm solution)

The first 4 1/2 years (out of 5 years) of spraying I was using EnvyTan and LOVED it. They have recently changed their entire brand and formulation to one solution, and I don't care for it at all. So I have tried 12 different solutions already since EnvyTan has changed. I have stuck with Norvell Dark & Venetian while I have personally tested out solutions to find just the right one. Norvell does have a nice cosmetic bronzer and brown color but that's the only thing going for it for me. It doesn't last long at all!

I have also used and bought some Sjolie, which I regret! Hate it. The smell of it is horrible! Smells like rubbing alcohol. Bronzer is super light (compared to other solution like Norvell) and I never have found that the tan has come out BROWN. The one and only thing that I found that I liked about Sjolie is that it lasted the longest of 7-10 days. People who work out a lot, it's great for.

Still open to try more solutions!
Next is Tampa Bay Tan. Anyone have anything good to say about TBT?
