Last may I did over 200 custom sprays by hand and I turn away about 10% more clients that I couldn't accommodate. In the last 12 months I've done about 1500 custom sprays at $40 full price. There aren't any automated sunless options near us. Closest is over an hour away. I am thinking about using the three solution trays for clear versa, bronze versa and either norvellsunless dark or the versa moisturizer spray. Thoughts? What types of packages do people do? I know some offer unlimited.. How is this worth it for us? Do clients seem to easily understand the instructions the machine has or do you normally show clients too? Thank u for any info!! |

Personally I would think your custom sprays would be more expensive then the automated booth as its more personal and custom, to make the versa worth it you may have to raise your airbrush prices. I am thinking about using the three solution trays for clear versa, bronze versa and either norvellsunless dark or the versa moisturizer spray. Thoughts? I always felt that the big benefit with the Versa is the ability to offer the pre (ph) treatment and the post (moisture) treatment making the tan as natural and even as possible, we have the VersaPro so we can offer both treatments and a bronze and clear spray. By far our most popular color treatment is the clear. Maybe you can just offer that in your booth for the masses and if people need results "now" that's when they can get the custom air brush? What types of packages do people do? I know some offer unlimited.. How is this worth it for us? As for the "unlimited" most salons I see that offer that is a membership and they limit it to usually 1 per week. It makes up for it when people don't use all 4 sprays every month, people get busy, go away or just forget/get too lazy to come in. Most salons offer single sessions and packages with a bigger discount the more sessions the client buys Do clients seem to easily understand the instructions the machine has or do you normally show clients too? The booth is extremely easy to use (no complaints on this!) but for every new client we show them how it works just to be sure. |

Rep Power: 13 | Re: New versa purchased need advice Our starting price is $40 for the spray and goes up to $49 depending on level and if they are using a clear or instant bronze treatment. A level 1 spray with the prep & moisture treatment and all the extras (hairnet, booties, blending cream etc.) costs US almost $14. Theres no way I would sell that for $20 |

Rep Power: 19 | Re: New versa purchased need advice We offer VersaPRO; have had a significant percentage of our customers switch from airbrush to VersaPRO because the results are more consistent (we have never offered airbrush at our salon, but have several airbrush salons within a mile.) A single session is $45 (includes everything, and every option.) We also offer unlimited EFT for $98. When we first opened, we offered half off the first session for first-time customers, but now we're at capacity, and never discount. |
