Rep Power: 14 | How Old is too Old - for solutions? I have some Aviva samples that I had sitting around for awhile and they are sealed and unfortunately (but maybe fortunately) contain parabens as the preservative. They've been stored in a cool dark cabinet and I am wondering how old is too old? How long will these last? I don't want to buy new samples and not be happy if I have some that might work so that I know I like the colour and want to make it a regular purchase. I totally understand why our local distributer wants to sell the samples but I have bought solutions for 1 client and then wasted product because it wasn't the right colour for them and not enough people want to be that dark. Make sense or am I just as confusing as I feel right now?

My solution doesn't contain Parabens, sulfate, and all that other bad stuff but I know if I keep it in a cool place it will last me a year. But since I tan clients like crazy now, I go through solution fast.

Rep Power: 14 | Re: How Old is too Old - for solutions? Hey Paradise Bronze , I don't use any solutions normally that have parabens and all that other stuff which is why the samples just sat unused. I have my favourite solution brand but I'm finding that it is just not perfect for everyone and I really need to have other options available for those few clients that need something much darker. BTW I've been using the Dawn to clean my gun but I still rinse with some alcohol and hot water because I need to see your video. ; )

I find it all fascinating I am working on an e-book now. I'm running a contest now for The Ultimate Red Carpet Makeover, Check it out! I'd love feedback! www.redcarpetmakeovercontest.com

Rep Power: 14 | Re: How Old is too Old - for solutions? Wish you were closer Paradise Bronze I would definitely try your solution . The reason I went with Norvell is it came with my start-up package, really like my local distributor and it was the first express solution and I love being able to rinse in an hour. Hey...I have an idea since I am mobile why don't I head South to the West Coast during the dreaded Winter months? Hmmm I like that idea right about now! Thanks for your feedback too on the contest! : ) Only 24 hours to go.
