Rep Power: 0 | VERY Fair Client...Which solution is best? I have been using Sjolie exclusively for the last three years and have been consistently pleased with my results. I will be doing a bride in a few months that is extremely fair with very blonde hair. In the three years I have had my mobile business, she is the lightest skin I have ever worked with. I am concerned that a Level 6% will still be too dark for a little sun kissed look on her wedding day. Any suggestions? |

I tanned a girl for her prom that was very fair, blonde hair, blue eyes with some freckles who always burns in the sun and she loved the way her tan turned out! I have to admit, I didn't see it myself, but I always do a follow up email and she said she was very pleased and happy with it and the client that referred her to me said she loved it. I would also suggest doing a trial tan with your girl first. It really is in her (and your) best interest to test out the tan before the big day since her skin type can be fickle with tanning. This will also be helpful with her makeup trial as well if she books her tan first, that way the makeup artist can see how the colors will look with her tan. Hope this helps, much luck!!! |

I would love to hear a follow-up though if the 6% worked well? I highly recommend trial tans for brides and bridal parties as it is the most photographed day and you want everyone to be happy. I find it helpful to offer a special "Bridal Package" typically the first tan is regular price and the pre-event tan is substantially less and I include a gift for the Bride. I also advise brides to go for a light tan as in most cases they are wearing white or ivory and the tan will appear darker. I like the express solutions for a number of reasons. 1.) lighter results - a subtle faux glow 2.) more showers before event to remove residual bronzer 3.) brides are so darn busy who can wait 16 hours for a tan? Hope that information helps!
