Re: Spray tan won't come off

House of Tan, I use ayusunless products for last 8 years, started out with Breeze but was becoming difficult to deal with them and I was looking and testing new products and someone here suggested ayu products. I have been happy so far, I also have opportunity create my own blend with them but for now I am using two of their solution with bulk daily moisturizer they offer.

Re: Spray tan won't come off

If there is a list being compiled, I would add to the No-no list of shower gel/lotions:
Dove
Caress
Jergins
Dial
No Bar Soaps
I have experienced streaking, sploching, fast fading, etc. with all of the above!
There are so many versions (creamy, extra moisturizing, etc.) of each that I just say no to all. Melinda

Re: Spray tan won't come off

I use Dial, Caress, and Dove and my tans are fine. With those shower gels, one must rinse off thoroughly to prevent residue left on their skin. As far as lotions go, I use Jergens Original, Cetaphil, or Aveeno.

Re: Spray tan won't come off

I'm with House of Tans I recommend the IVORY Clean & Simple body wash in Aloe and agree with Paradise Bronze with Aveeno as a moisturizer .

I say NO to DOVE products and bar soaps but that is mainly just based on everyone saying they are not spray tan friendly. I prefer learning from other people if I can.

Yay! I think this my #100 post!!! I'm going to go celebrate now!

JUST TO KEEP THIS RELEVANT TO THE ORIGINAL TITLE:

1.) bathtub with body oil and a loofah/washcloth
2.) AHA renewing moisturizer to help exfoliate
3.) tango mitt (haven't tried but might be better than regular mitts)
4.) nourish from within - drink more water, fruits, avocado

Re: Spray tan won't come off

And I'm just going to add this. I had a similar customer. She came every week. I am almost 100% positive she rarely showered. I truly think she only showered once a week. The skin just flaked off all over the mat. Just hated having to jump through hoops to get her skin prepped for spraying. I put her in the Versa after I sprayed her for the moisture spray. Just saw this was a post from 2013 too.
