Smile Norvell One Hour Solution

I am wanting to get others reviews on their experience with Norvell One Hour solution . I have generally used the solution on my lighter clients, however, I was wanting to try it on those that want a darker tan. I was curious about the results at the 2 hour mark and longer.
Thanks for your input.

Re: Norvell One Hour Solution

I love love LOVE the Norvell One solution and have had great results for clients with fair to medium skintone. Sadly I have not found it dark enough for clients with darker skintones or for those who suit a deeper tan. Just tried the Norvell Venetian and it too was really disappointing. The cosmetic bronzer is a really nice colour for medium tone skin but the final result is no where near the "deepest, darkest, longest lasting tan yet!" as the product description indicates. Also as a side note I had a couple clients who ignored the 3 hour maximum and were still happy with their results. I was slightly horrified as I thought something really terrible happens at 3 hours and 1 minute but no. Now I don't rely on verbally telling people the length of time I provide an after tan instruction sheet so I feel adequately covered. : )

Re: Norvell One Hour Solution

Thank you jenuinetan. I was thinking that it wasn't as dark as I had hoped. And thanks for the written instructions, I think that is a GREAT idea!

Re: Norvell One Hour Solution

What do you all think the darkest Norvell solution is? I have Black Out for competitors prep but looking for something dark for regular customers and I really like the Norvell airtight package. Thanks :)

Re: Norvell One Hour Solution

I wasn't a fan of the One hour because it did not get very dark no matter how long you left it on but i love the dark and double dark.
to MKTans, as far as the Black Out, I initially bought it for a group of girls that needed to be really dark and most of them preferred the double dark. I test everything on my self and sprayed 1 leg w/DD & the other w/Black out but after the initial shower it was barley any darker. I didn't feel it was worth the extra money. I am still looking for a company that has a darker solution with out looking orange. So far, no luck:(

Re: Norvell One Hour Solution

Customers have been complaining about the One solution . They all swear they wait 3 hours, but dont get dark enough. (although a few called us before the 3 hour mark and said they showered after 3 hours and were not dark). Basically people are having a hard time following the directions. I have been debating not carrying it anymore. But it is a nice upgrade for people...if they follow directions.

Smile Re: Norvell One Hour Solution

I love Norvell One! But I have to explain to clients that the bronzers will wash off during their first shower, then the tan will take 18 to 24 hours to process. I have learned that I have to write that down because if I don't write it down the client will text three hours later telling me that they may need another tan because it is not dark enough. I remind them that they have to wait, then the next day they tell me that it is perfect! I always use the Norvell One on myself so that the client can see that it is a lighter, more natural tan, then they can choose a darker solution if they want. I almost always recommend they leave it on for the full 3 hours unless they really want a light tan. My only issue is that the shelf life is only three months so I order it often and in 32oz boxes so that I am never near the expiration date. Also it is a golden brown and some clients want to stay away from golden and request greens and purples in their tan solution which is very popular with tourists, then I use the Norvell Venetian.
