Rep Power: 0 | Blotchy tan? I am new to the business and things have been going well then I have a client who calls and says her chest and hands are blotchy, I used sol potion #10 a week ago then a week later she wanted darker so used the #11 any ideas why this happened and how to avoid this from happening again. |

It does build up on their skin and everyone fades differently so the best thing to do is exfoliate every couple of weeks. I recently had a customer start airbrushing. She was a previous tanner who had dealt with tinea versicolor back in the fall. I noted her account back then that it was most noticeable on her belly, chest and upper arms. Airbrushed her and same areas did not take as well. Sent her home with a nail brush, suggested Nuetragena T/Gel for the next 4-5 days and viola! Perfect application! I tend to think if it was too dark she would have an unnatural tint but the application wouldn't matter. Will be curious if anyone has some input on that. Good luck with the biz :)

Make sure this particular client is completely dry before leaving and tell her to be conscience of her handbag and seatbelt. After her first shower sell her a GOOD moisturizer lotion with some self tanner in it. If she has left over tan use the exfoliant mitts before her tan they are awesome.
