Rep Power: 0 | Re: Norvell Moisturizing Spray? I've never used this product but I did take a look at the link. When you click the tap "application" it says "Post-Tan Ritual: Product can be sprayed on with refillable retail style bottle or sprayed directly through HVLP sunless spray system. Apply to client just after the sunless tanning session. Spray lightly over entire area to moisture lock color." So I think you would use it after the tan, before you have them get dressed. I would be interested in hearing how this works, but by just reading the info Norvell has on it, it's not something I would rush to test out. My solution is aloe based so it already contains skin nourishing properties and my pH balancer takes care of even fading, prolonged color and balancing the skin. Most of the ingredients, if not all, in my pH spray are in the post spray (although the post spray contains many more ingredients then what is in my pH spray, which, to me, is not always a good thing.) I also don't really understand the DHA in the post spray. If they were just sprayed, they wouldn't be needing more DHA. Plus a Tan Extender (which is a GREAT retail product to have in stock) has a bit of DHA in it (which is what helps extend the tan) and the client should begin use of that a few days after their sunless session. Also, clients should be moisturizing regularly anyways to keep their skin/tan hydrated. It just seems like an unnecessary step, and an unnecessary professional expense (to me!). But everybody has got their own faves, so if it works for you and your clients, go for it! |

Rep Power: 13 | Re: Norvell Moisturizing Spray? I used the Norvell Post Moisturizing Spray after every tan when I used the Original Norvell Sunless Solutions. I really liked the results of the moisture spray as skin felt moisturized, looked radiant and it smelled great. I am not sure if it truly made a difference and admittedly every additional product used reduces the profit margin. Now that I primarily use the Norvell One it is no longer necessary as clients rinse off the solution in 1-3 hours. Plus I find with using the quick solution it saves time for the client and me too. The appointment is faster and I only need to clean 1 gun rather than 2 guns plus if you need to do any touch-ups it's too late once you've applied the Moisture Lock, although I could be wrong but it seems that may create a barrier to the solution . Hope that helps and doesn't confuse! |
