help! bronzer is running
 

hi guys, ive got a question. in November ive got my first bodybuilding contest where i will spraytan lot of people. i started testing the solution with a very dark bronzer. my plan is to give them a dark basecoat the day before the contest. the day of the contest they get a dark competition tan on top of it. Yesterday i had a try out, but the bronzer was running because of the sweat.
Has anyone experienced this problem, and know how to fix it?

Streaking!! I bought a new salon and have the magictan 3000. All of my clients have had product streaking. What should I do? Pressure problem maybe???

Of course the bronzer will run due to the sweat. it will also leave them streaky. They need to wash off the temporary bronzer or this will continue.

Why is there sweating? And, no, for bodybuilders you do not want them to shower until after their competition. Are you the tanning sponsor for the show? Where is it at?

I have never done a comp. tan before, but maybe you could try using a clear solution on the day of the event? it should make them darker but the cosmetic bronzer has been removed so it shouldn't streak. good luck, hope you find something that works for you!

Im in Europe, and yes im the sponsor of the show in Europe. A few coats of DHA isnt dark enough underneath the bright lights on stage.

Your magic tan unit has a flow meter on the back that is adjustable from 20 to 0, it is probably set too high. It needs to be at 8-10 range. Above that, there will be too much solution coming out which will cause dripping on the backs of the legs and arms. Simple to fix-watch a spray cycle while the machine sprays and turn the screw down until the flow meter reads correctly. ALSO be careful not to stand too close to the spray nozzles-you should be as far away from them as possible, against the door. The skin must be clean and dry-and you should not work out OR shower within 12-24 hours after the spraytan. It is still developing and is subject to sweat and water streaking. ABC's of spraytanning.

You should be spraying them 3 days in row before the show (if it's an important competition) and using competition strength and color.

But 12 or 14% isnt dark enough the bodybuilder told me, also not after spraying 3 times. Thats why i don't understand how other sprayers are doing this.
