Mobile backdrop by Aviva

Has anyone actually used the black mobile backdrop from Aviva? It can been seen in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czOwrrohUm4

I don't see much in the way of comments about it, which makes me think it hasn't gone over very well.... if you've used it for mobile tanning... I'd love to hear your experience.

Thanks!

Re: Mobile backdrop by Aviva

I wonder what this is like also. I watched the youtube video and it looks interesting, but I would like to hear from somebody who has tried it. I don't want to invest $100+ for something that might be terrible. I already wasted money on a tanning tent that won't fold back up! I watched all kinds of youtube videos to find out how to fold it, but it just won't go! Please, any help or advice would be great!

Re: Mobile backdrop by Aviva

I was also interested in the Aviva system but, had not read any reviews either way about it. I did however, create my own version (for less than half the price).

I bought a "Portable Background Backdrop Support Stand" from Linco on ebay for $75, free shipping. I spent $1 for shower curtain hooks at the dollar store, $10 for a black fabric shower curtain at Walmart.

I use it on myself & family in my basement with an extraction fan on either side and it works just fine. For the floor, I just throw down a black sheet. I'm sure it would travel well but, I'm so used to using pop-up tents for my mobile clients that I'm sticking with that for now. As for the extraction fans, they were $10 each at Walmart (simple box fans) and I bought a large sheet of speaker foam online which I cut into 20 X 20 squares and can just rinse and dry. I also use them when I travel, if I have more than a couple tans in a row.

Invest in your business and get something professional. I get so many compliments on my backdrop in my salon (that is portable). Clients always make comments about how much they dislike the pop up tents, or random backdrops mobile peeps tend to have.
