Question Same solution..different name

I am always trying new solutions even tho I have used the same one for years. I tend to keep the bottles from everything I get (make note of result) but was cleaning "house" and for some reason looked at ingredients on this one sample and it totally matched another one that I have tried. Only difference seems to be one is almost double the price of the other.Anyone else ever come across this?

I bet they private labeled the more expensive one from the cheaper company and then labeled it as their own. WIth me franchising, i will most likely be doing something like this for my franchises.

It could be rebranding, it can also be that most airbrush solutions use a lot of the same ingredients, just mix them with their own recipe & amounts.

Re: Same solution..different name

Direct proportions of "recipes" are proprietary information. As stated above, just because it is on the label, there are no guarantees the percentages of each ingredient is the same in each solution . With franchising, private label products is very common. Many large companies rebrand other lotions etc to have their label for branding consistencies. When purchasing a franchise, what products, how you purchase them etc is all laid out in the franchise agreement. ;) With franchising, product sales to franchisees is a small portion of the revenue generated as a franchisor

Re: Same solution..different name

Franchising is a total different game. These solutions were the same. I have since learned the expensive one relabeled the cheaper solution . Ingredients in same order, same smell and same results. I believe if it "quacks like a duck" its a duck.
