Rep Power: 0 | Maximist Ultra or LVCLP or Tanning Essentials/Norvell VIP I am mobile and currently have a maximist pro and like it. I want to buy a back up machine and was going to get the same thing. Then I thought that this would be a good time to upgrade. I am trying to decide if I want the Maximist Ultra, the LVCLP (Sprays of Rays) or the Tanning Essentials (Norvell VIP). I have read many reviews on here on all of these, but any new information you may have would be much appreciated. Thank you |

I do 90% of my tanning in studio and it is perfect, but when I have to pack it up...it's heavy and not exactly easy to transport. I'll be buying a Maximist this year to use for mobile while keeping my LVCLP for in studio use. |

I am using sjolie with it but some clients want a richer looking tan and many don't like the tackiness they have to sleep in so I've been testing norvell but I can't get my gun settings just right for that solution . I'm used to doing 2 light coats and norvell recommends 1 but my guinea pigs are turning out orangy. What solution do you currently use? One coat or two? Where do you have your gun settings? Thank you for your time. |

Rep Power: 13 | Re: Maximist Ultra or LVCLP or Tanning Essentials/Norvell VIP I am using the Norvell VIP (2011 model) and I really love it! Although it appears bulky it is very lightweight and includes 2 guns plus if it is a back-up unit you can also wall mount it for an at-home studio now or in the future. The cleaning is super easy as you basically rinse them out and spray some cleaner through them rather then having to disassemble the gun. There is a little washable filter on the bottom which you rinse approximately once a month depending on usage. The other nice feature is no worries about gun settings as it just has the 1 dial setting to determine the amount of solution . I currently use Norvell solution and typically apply 2 light coats and ALWAYS use a PH Spray and Post-Moisturizing treatment to ensure the best possible results. |
