I have worked hard to build my business to the level it is. I am franchising my concept in 2013 and people will be able to reap the benefits of my hardwork by buying into the franchise. You can be the best person in the industry. But if you have 15 comps doing the same service, you are spreading the spray tan business between 15 people, decreasing the amount of people you will get to your salon and your overall profit. |

I, as you have worked very hard to build my business and clientele over the years. I was speaking in general of how some choose to run their business with no respect and professionalism. It is all about the get rich quick thing not putting in the time and hard work to build a great business! That is wonderful you are franchising in 2013! |

I started as a mobile service, and now rent a room from a salon. I alone, am not enough to take my business to where I want it to be. Ive thought about hiring someone (which scares the crap out of me) then eventually renting 2 rooms. Do you have any advice? |

Usually when you see that number, it changes lots of peoples minds ;) Make sure it includes employee salary, cost of goods, rent, insurance (to include workers comp), taxes, your salary, etc. I will be out of my salons by end of April (going on maternity leave) but will be managing them. Locations 2-4 are in the works as of right now. Meeting with my attorneys to go over all the legal stuff. :) |

We are trying for our 2nd child and I am scared of the exhaustion interferring with running my business (durring pregnancy and w a new born). Did you airbrush the whole time you've been pregnant, did you wear a respirator? How did you find employees you could trust enough to take over for you while on maternity leave, and to run your other locations? I have been STRESSING about all these things! Its a relief to see someone successfully handling the senerio that I have been so worried about!! |
