Competition spray with Infinity? Hi guys..i was wondering if any of you have used infinity sun solution to do a fitness competition spray? I was wondering if you would just put the dial on the highest setting and just go over the tan multiple times? Please let me know if you have any tips or trix thanks! MissPaige |
Re: Competition spray with Infinity? also you can email me directly to paige@beautyagogoonline.com if that is easier |
Re: Competition spray with Infinity? Just buy a darker solution from either Protan or Norvell, they both make products for Competition. Norvell is called Black Out & Protan has a few options. |
Re: Competition spray with Infinity? With infinity you can only use their solution, the solution box plugs into the machine... So unless I figured out a way to pour competition solution in an empty box...? |
Re: Competition spray with Infinity? Did you ever try this? I need to do a competition tan with Infinity Sun too! |
Re: Competition spray with Infinity? With IS it will take 2 days and about 5 coats, I've done it. |
Re: Competition spray with Infinity? Eileen, did you use the clear or bronzing solution? Also, did you have them shower between each 5 coats? I usually only use the bronzer and can't imagine spraying over an already bronzed body. Can you tell me a little bit more about how you did it? Thanks! |
Re: Competition spray with Infinity? FYI, I just talked to Infinity Sun and they told me they are in the works with coming out with a new IS solution for bodybuilding. They have no idea when it will be available though. |
Re: Competition spray with Infinity? Back then I did 2 coats one day then 3 the second day. I just waited until each coat dried before adding the next. The second day took a few hours, he did a matrix tan before the spray. |
Re: Competition spray with Infinity? I'm not sure why it is necessary to use so much solution and so many coats. I don't think the solution being used is correct. I use South Seas for my comp tanning. They are now the official tanning sponsor of the World Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation. I spray my competition clients 1 day before competition with regular South Seas solution (9% DHA) and then I use South Seas Competition tanning the morning of their competition. The most important part of a competition tan is the bronzer, so I can't understand how you could use one without bronzer. The competitor does NOT wash off the solution before competing. I spray them with 2 coats of competition spray drying completely between sprays and after. My competitors look amazing.
