spraying over tattoos

I have a new client who is being sprayed next week. She said half her body is covered in tattoos and was concerned the spray would make them look dingy. Has anyone experienced this? I usually apply barrier cream to tattoos but half a body? She has a formal dress that will show a lot of skin for new years eve. Thanks.

Not a problem. I spray the front man of a very famous band and he iss covered in tattoos, and it turns out fine for him every time.

Agree with Delany. One of my clients has half sleeves on both arms as well as multiple other tattoos. I've never used any sort of barrier cream or anything on her and her tan and her tattoos look great!

Re: spraying over tattoos

In my experence, i've had many clients with tattoos. In general i agree with the above thoughts, howevver i've also had requests to cover only the light area, such as the white, yellow, and pearl colors. the solution doesnt harm the tattoo at all but it tans the skin over which the tattoo is located. So the light areas do look a little tanned. Most of the folks just say spray it all and it seem to look fine to me most of the time. Hope you find what works best for you!!!

If she doesn't like the way it looks initially, she could use a wet wipe and simply wipe it off of the tattooed area as soon as you're finished.

Re: spraying over tattoos

FYI I received a call from this woman and she loved the tan, loved the look of her tattoos and wants to buy a maintenance pkg. After seeing her in person I decided to spray as usual. Lots of tattoos but many were not filled in. Mainly black. Thank u for all the input.
