1st shower, rinse only or soap & water? does water only stop develoment of the solution or soap and water? I have been advising my clients to rinse only in there for shower thinking that if they rinse after 8 hrs the tan will continue to darken, is that correct? |
Re: 1st shower, rinse only or soap & water? Stay dry as long as possible, no water; min. 6-8 hours ( I like to see them go dry for 12 hours or more). Soap is fine, Ivory Simply Aloe is a good choice. No luffas or wash cloths (for every show after a spray tan) to make it last longer. |
Re: 1st shower, rinse only or soap & water? Technically water only will stop the DHA development. However, I have rinsed with water only after 6hrs and have noticed it to still develop a bit more afterwards. This is with the SJolie solution. I recommend to all my clients to shower after 8 hrs or the next morning. If they like the intensity of the color I suggest they just rinse. |
Re: 1st shower, rinse only or soap & water? I always tell my clients to rinse off on their first shower. They may use soap in certain areas like underarms, privates but thats about it. |
Re: 1st shower, rinse only or soap & water? I advise not to get wet for 8-12 hours even. When they shower the first time to use water as cool as they can and to just use a gentle body gel on private areas and armpits |
Re: 1st shower, rinse only or soap & water? I tell them rinse only for first shower, at least 6-8 hours after spray. The longer the better. Also tell them not to put anything on their skin until that first shower, then moisturize at least twice a day. Also, no bar soap. Use a hydrating shower gel. |
Re: 1st shower, rinse only or soap & water? Stay dry for 6-12 hours & moisturize after showering. I haven't had any issues with using soap causing a difference in the tan. Pat dry don't rub is another one :-) |
