If you are mobile, you should be charging lots more.

I started out at $30 and am now at $40. Once I hire a tech, she will be $40 and I will be either $45 or $50. I sold packages to bring the cost back down to the original $30 when i increased my prices. After awhile I raised them again....same thing

Raise it to $35 and then sell packages. do maybe 3 for $89. and 5 for $125...this way they can still get the 25 price if they buy a package and then 10 for $200

I totally agree with raising prices if there's room, and then offering packages. If your edge is your price though, don't make a drastic price increase. Like anything else in tanning or any other business, it's all how you market it.

Spray tanning packages increase numbers of regulars of course, and you can market them to encourage your regulars to bring in new clients (friends going in on a 4 pack of tans, for example).

I charge $45 and it is under the local standard for my market. The nice thing is that you work dor yourself so if you get a client that might think you are too high you can give them a "promotional" discount . Packages are great too. I learned a long time ago that sometimes cheap is not always better. I disd BOGO etc..and no bites, People sometimes do not mind paying a little more for quality. Supercuts is cheap but I would rather pay a bigger salon for quality...same with spray tans . But if you do raise proces, keep your current clients grandfathered in. Would not be cool to jack up their prices.
