Rep Power: 0 | Re: What works for you? marketing and tanning space. of course, i will definitely post pics! i used the cabinet to put towels in, solutions, my extra equipment and guns, i think it looks a lot more upscale and professional than using plastic drawers (which i have seen a lot of). as for the backdrop, i'm not sure what the material is, but it is the same color as the fake granite, (browns,blacks and greens). we are going to cute holes into the walls to mount the fans and cut holes into the backdrop material so that the extraction fans will stick out, and hang some lighting. i know it sounds super difficult, the biggest pain is going to be running new electric. i think the standard extraction units with backdrops (ex. norvell) are very generic looking, and expensive! doing it on your own may take time but you will save $$$$$$$ and your room will look classier and more original! |

But I have a really tiny studio room and I am not going to be cutting holes in the walls lol. I am just renting a small office from the salon owner. When i have my own Shop, then thats a diff story. But I am sure your place is going to look fabulous! Cant wait to see the pictures. Your creative ideas are helpful and super inspiring. I might go check out home depot and see if I can create something clever too. |
