I sprayed a girl last week who called the next day,and said the area between her breasts started peeling after her shower. She swears its from the solution . I've never had this happen before, and I dont see how the solution could possibly make you peel. Has anyone ever had this happen?

She had on purfume before the spray or a lotion.

Really? I always tell people no perfume or lotion, but she may have had that on. I just thought those things act like a barrier to the solution , but I didnt realize it could make you peel.

Everytime, it will peel or look blotchy. I am sure she told that she did not have any on, but she lied or has a serious PH problem with the skin on her chest.

Or... She is a stripper and worked that night after the spray.
Don't laugh to hard, this is not that un-common.

it can exfoliate there if she is big breasted...the boobs rub together in that area and get sweaty

She wasnt that big breasted. I think House of Tan is right about the perfume! (and maybe the stripping! Lol!)

You can always mist your clients with an exfoliating/ph balance spray before the tans & wipe them clean to avoid this type of problem. I cannot count the amt. of people I have given pre-tan instructions to, only to have them show up with lotion on or not properly exfoliated. The Ex. spray has been a "tan saver" for me :-)

This just happened to one of my clients and I did use ph spray. It's only on her chest and she compared it to peeling like a sunburn. Any other possible reasons for this? It's never happened b4. Should she try exfoliating? It's been 4 days since the spray.

I got a client that called me to do a touch up on a spray tan she got someplace else as she was going to a reunion and had an emergency, I went to check it out and she was peeling on her chest like a sunburn also. Went through all the questions and was stumped. ( no lotion, no perfume) She was sprayed with Norvell, which should not matter as it is a good solution , but regardless I had her exfoliate that area and touched it up a tad with just cosmetic bronzer. Was not great, but looked better than the peeling. Now she calls me for all her spray tans :)

Maybe my solution is getting old? I really don't know. I save my remaining 1 oz of solution in a sealed cup for 1 week after a spray. I then refill the cup for another spray. Could this b the problem? Should I always toss my leftovers?
