Re: New to Spray tanning and have a question

Like stated above make sure that your color guide looks nice and even after spraying. I do 2 light coats to ensure all areas are covered and no spots missed. Post tan is crucial. You can give a perfect tan but if they do not follow it they can mess it up. Just keep practicing. Remember, even a natural tan is not always 100% perfect. There are some areas that get darker etc...and even no sun at all! lol
so just keep being dilligent and you will be ok

Re: New to Spray tanning and have a question

This is a message I recieved from a girl asking about spray tanning said

I had it done for prom and IDK I didn't take care of mine right or what but it looked awful when it started to come off. I looked like I had some weird skin disease lol

What could this be could it be she didn't exfoliate well and didn't moisturize her skin after she was sprayed the following days??

Re: New to Spray tanning and have a question

Either that and she did not moisturize properly post tan , but it could have just been the solution used . I am very dillgent and have experienced that with some solutions . That's why I don't use them ;)

Re: New to Spray tanning and have a question

the best piece of advice i can give: when you call to confirm appointments explain to clients everything they should do to prep for their tan to get the best results..they're spending money why not do what it takes to get the best results. i've had a lot of clients come from other salons that say that they never knew not to apply lotion or any other products before their spray tan . and we carry a full line of post care products..from body wash lotions, dry oil sprays sunscreens , exfoliators etc. i tell clients it's just like getting your hair colored, if you don't take care of it it's not gonna look as good as it's supposed to. :)
