Rep Power: 0 | Sol Potion Solution I would appreciate any opinions and experiences using Sol Potion's solutions, more specifically Simply Sol? I have a sample of the origional solution (9%) and I am waiting for my current tan to fade before I try it. I've been using Sjolie but have had issues with it rubbing off and fading quickly/unevenly even with all the proper maintence. Thanks in advance! |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Sol Potion Solution I am curious about Sol Potion, I ordered some sample packages but they got lost in the mail and have not re-ordered yet. I am currently using Artesien blend and have had complaints about fading too quickly (3 days) I also used Sjolie before and had a problem with stickyness but color was good and seemed to last. Please let us know how the Sol Potion turned out would love to hear before I order again. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Sol Potion Solution I use Sol Potion. I've always used them and have never had a complaint about the color. They are located in Michigan about 5 minutes from me, so that is what turned me on about the company as shipping is super fast for me. Simply Sol is my absolute favorite! I have it in 9 but now they only make it in 10. When my gallon of 10 is out, I'll def be ordering the Simply Sol in 10. It's wonderful and dries super fast. Smells good too. All SP colors are very natural looking. I've never had a client complain about feeling orange. My whole line is Sol Potion... At one point I used Tampa Bay for my DHA 6 and DHA 8.5because Sol Potion didn't have a 6, but Sol Potion carries 6 now so I don't use Tampa Bay anymore. I can mix the 10 and 6 or 9 and 6 and get an in between color. Once you use SP, you won't feel the need to experiment with solutions anymore. It's really a one stop shop company. You can check out my before and after pictures at www.facebook.com/amandasairbrushtanning I agree with you both about Sjolie. I ordered a sample of their 9 and used it twice. Once as a 9 and then darkened it once with drops. Both my clients said they hated it compared to Sol Potion. Sjolie was OK, but when they were comparing to their usual Sol Potion sessions, they weren't happy. It was very "wet" looking after and faded funky on the chest and neck. Also, my one client complained that her sheets were bronzed when she woke up in the morning. I never have this issue with SP because it dries nicely. The smell is a bit strong in my opinion as well. |
