Question Dry Time in Chest Area

Does anyone know the reason behind the fact that the chest area always seams to be the one area that takes the longest to dry?

I've been spraying for a long time and never ever overspray. However, every time I spray someone is obvious that the chest area takes a bit longer to dry. The rest of the body dries much faster.

Re: Dry Time in Chest Area

To me it seems like that area gets alittle more spray than the rest of body because of the obvoious curves, and unintentional overspray from the face and neck areas. Also i believe that area has very little dead skin overburden due to friction from bras, necklasses, ect... and its an easy area to scrub in shower so it get extra attention and exfolation. I use a blow drier set on warm not hot to "flash set" that area, then a liberal dusting of silk powder with bronzer added to help dry/set that area!! Just my 2cents. :)

I have never had that problem. I do know the skin is a bit thiner on the chest, so that might play into it

Re: Dry Time in Chest Area

It's a pretty common thing. The skin is thinner on the chest and tends to pool up slightly before drying. I determine whether my client's are good to get dressed based on whether their chest area has set in or is still damp to the touch. Some of my clients come in right after showering (even though I instruct them to shower no later than one or two hours before their spray.) This area will tell you whether they just shower or are sweaty based on how the solution looks right after you pass over that area.
