What methods do you use to get the word out about your spray/ airbrush tanning business? I have a website and a Facebook page, but are there any other things you use that you've found useful?

Merchant circle and a website with search optimization is important. Going to any networking events you can will help. Trade shows where you can interact with other vendors too helps

I actually walked around to all hair salons, spas, nail salons, bridal stores etc.., basically any store that could have anyone discuss tanning and leave a stack of business cards and introduce myself. My cards are all over my town and the neighboring towns. I have had quite a few calls and referrals from these places. Anything to get your name out there.

I Just went around today and posted flyers with little tabs on the bottom so people can tear off my name and number! It tells all about the solution I use and my prices :) I printed them out on thick colored paper so they look nice and clean. We will see how that goes! I also left a few cards with them. If I get calls I will be sure to ask where they heard about me from and make sure I go back to restock if they run out of cards.

I just updated my yelp account and have had several calls from people who found me on there! I think the internet is a very powerful tool when it comes to advertising.
