Respraying 2 days after

Hi guys! I need some help. I sprayed a girl Wednesday who was a type 1 but had a true base tan on her face and arms. Very pale on lower half. I used sluf wipes and sprayed her with SJolie 9%. She is worried she is looking yellow. Why yellow? She wants to be repsprayed tonight (Friday). Can I do that and if so, should I use the same solution and % or my photoshoot or JMT? Any advice would be great. She is my most fair skinned client so far. Thanks!

I am a type 1 ( pale, freckles And natural redhead ) never can tan in the sun. 9% was too high. I have gotten a yellowy look in the past from certain solutions
On those type 1 I always use 5.% photoshoot. Sometimes I blend with the 8% to get a 6.5%
On those clients I always go subtle and offer to do another coat If after shower they feel too light but I have not had to do that yet as they are happy with the 5% or 6.5%

Is she still yellowey? Or could you do a new spray on fresh skin

@Autobronze,

If your client is fair skin (Type 1), I would definitely not use anything higher than our 6% solution which is meant for Type 1 skin type. The unnatural tan your client is describing is more than likely due to a high DHA use on the skin.

Other issues could arise from the Sluff wipes, as we are unsure how the product itself reacts with our solution . I would like to see more reviews of Sluff wipes with our solution before we could comment if this could be an issue or not.

Feel free to PM or email me direct and I would be more than happy to help. Spray tanning 2 days after is ok, but I would not recommend using 9% on her again. Attempt with a lower DHA %.

Re: Respraying 2 days after

I've had great results mixing Sjolie 6% and 9% 50/50 for a Type I, 6% is too light for most clients to feel like they look "tan", just sunkissed.

Re: Respraying 2 days after

I thought 6 would be too light for her as well because her forearms were darker than what a 6 would give me. She's on the higher end of a level one and I ended up seeing her on Friday and she actually looked pretty good but there was a difference in the color of her arms to stomach obviously. She is naturally pinky in color and sjolie gave a nice brown which she considered yellow although it was not. I will try a 6 with the boosters next time and see how it works. She's my sister in law so no harm done. 1st time being sprayed as well. Thank you for your replies.

Sjolie products have not let me down one time.

Re: Respraying 2 days after

9% sjolie, im fair skinned myself and use 9% sometimes if i need a photoshoot i use 12% and it still fades normal except inner side of legs and on the chest. But im lazy and never take care about tan so maybe 12% can fade very evenly on me

Re: Respraying 2 days after

I'm type one and use a mix of JMT 10% and 12%. I, like Kamsunless, don't really take care of my tan so I have some odd fading in the crease of my armpit towards the front sometimes but that's usually it. That could also be attributed to my boyfriend spraying me as well since he's not the greatest yet so I can't really say it's the solutions fault, but I had no problem. When I used to use Southseas, I did two good coats of theirs which is 9% because 9% hardly gave me a tan after I showered. The bronzer would be great but then I'd barely have a line and I am very pale and burn very easily. I don't even use the 8% JMT offers unless someone is very new to spray tanning and VERY apprehensive or if they really do just want a tiny glow. People still generally want the darker one afterwards though and come in for a respray.

Have you used Sjolie? I was wondering how it compares to JMT?
