What is adequate ventilation & protective equipment for Airbrush Tanning

Last year, I had a spray room that was 100 sf and had no window and I had only one extraction fan in the back of my tent. I was spraying people throughout the year (5-15 a day) until I got diagnosed with asthma last October. I took off for 2 month, got better and started to spray people out of my house cause at least I have a window in my house. Now a hair laser place wants me to work out of their location & I said ok so as long as they add in good ventilation. So they built a background panel with 3 extraction fans in the background on top of each other and it supposed to suck in the overspray and the pipe that collects the overspray is placed in another room next door. Now my worry is, is this really adequate ventilation when the overspray is directed in another room? Could the overspray not return into my spray room. The extraction fans have filters that are washable and they were not able to tell me what kind of filters they are. Can someone please shed some light on what is really adequate ventilation when doing airbrush tanning in a location. The room is only 80 sf and I tan high volume, sometime one after another. I have been using a painters mask but it does not work so good when doing high volume, so I just ordered some charcoal facemasks and some other painters masks but I am not sure if this is adequate cause at the end of the day I always feel a bit sick to my lungs. I used different solutions such as Norvell, All about me, Aviva, Vani-T etc. I would like to hear from the manufacturing companies about what is really adequate ventilation so not to get sick when spraying the solutions. Thank you.
