Okay, I'm new at this and I don't know if I should try to teach one of my friends how to spray me or if I should just take a stab at spraying myself. Who sprays you?

but I know of someone who taught a friend how to spray her and in return gives the friend free tans (she charges for solution only, the friend buys her own bottle of solution and uses that) a win win.

I taught a friend how to tan me. She tans me & I tan her for free in exchange. Works great!

That's what was thinking about offering. I just need to figure out who to pick to spray me, I guess. Thanks for all the feedback.

If I just need a quick fix, I'll spray my own face, neck/chest, and arms. I can also do my own legs. For full body, I'll have an employee spray me.

I'm new also and not ready to spray myself but I want to look the part so I use the "Chocolate Tanning Milk" from Jamaica Me Tan for myself and I also use their solution . It looks great IMO and I don't have to worry about mistakes since I'm my own walking billboard.

I just talked to one of my friends and she is going to spray me and I'll spray her for free. We made an appointment with each other for around 4 tomorrow. Since it's her first time, I may have her spray me with training lotion tomorrow.

I still work full-time so I've really only been practising on the weekends. I have 3 scheduled for Sunday. I sprayed them last weekend with the training lotion and this weekend I'll be treating them to Vani T for letting me practise on them last week. One more week of work, then I'm on vacation at my regular job for a week.

I can't wait to see how this Vani T looks! How many people did you guys spray tan for practise before you went live, so to speak?

I've read good things about Vani T but I've never tried it. I've been spraying approx 6 people per week for 3 weeks now and I am just starting to feel confident enough to book a "friend" party. I'm going to charge 1/2 of what I would normally, plus I've already sprayed most of them for practice anyway. I'm going to stick close to friends and family for a while before going all out. Luckily I have a lot of both.
