Hows the hose? how long is it and is it big like the Maxi Mist pro?

I know this is an old thread but i'm hoping someone can help! I just purchased this machine and it is giving me so many issues. First when it sprays it speckles, I've tried every thing to see if it is airflow problem. But nothing changes it. Also, the nozzle sticks which makes a continuous spray of solution come out!
The machine came with two guns, both do it.
Super disappointed in this! I have been spraying for 7 years with a Maxi- mist and decided to upgrade since my Maxi- mist is almost out of life.

We use the LVCLP. It comes with a 4 year warranty and is the easiest gun to use and clean. It's all black with silver. This unit is an upgrade from the HVLP for the same price. It uses less solution. About 1.5 ounces per tan on average. It has a targeted spray pattern and can be sprayed at a closer range so there is way less over spray. We love it.
I think American Turbine and Jamaica Me Tan sell these. I've also seen them in a tanning magazine, but I can't remember which one.

PureTanATL are you using the Tanning Essentials Pro? If so I have that one and the Glam. I love the guns. What is your definition of speckles? I never had a problem with any of my guns or machine.

Sorry to hear about your experience. : (

This sounds like a defective gun and you should definitely replace it with the manufacturer/distributor. I believe it has a 1 year warranty. I recommend replacing rather then returning as (like Paradise Bronz) I am a fan of this machine despite having a few bumps along the way.

I actually have several videos on youtube and will include the links so that you can see when functioning properly it is a great machine.

Re: Has anybody heard of the Tanning Essentials Pro Series hvlp gun?

I have used the Glam and the TE Pro (had this one on trial). I had problems with both the TE Pro machine and the guns. With the Pro machine the machine was defective on the connection with the hose. I like the guns but they do retain solution when you clean them. I have also had speckling when spraying and believe me I clean my guns every day. I have now sent 2 guns back under warranty. I still use the glam but not the Pro machine. I believe they have changed the design of the Pro machines now? They've also changed the Glam, which I'm annoyed about as I really do like this little machine. These machines have been around a long time in various guises. The old style guns were always the problem these newer guns are so much better but far from perfect. To me the best trouble free gun ever, is the American Turbine Whispermist gun - never, in all the years I've owned a Whispermist (11+ years) has the gun ever speckled and it's the original gun. Only downsize is the weight and the cup size. If you ever do back to back tans then you'll know that your trigger finger kills and so does your arm!!
