Sticky feet

I'm in the process of finding the best $ on supplies for myself and clients. Cardboard sticky feet are cheaper than the others. Any complaints about them?

Re: Sticky feet

Do your clients stand on a towel ? Mine do and I never had a problem with the bottom of the feet. I have never had to use sticky feet.

Re: Sticky feet

Hi Melissaw1010. I have read many of your posts and they've been a great help. I am actually just starting out. I've tanned about 10 people for practice and 2 had stained feet (used baking soda to get it off). The tans looked good though. I used black towels on the floor of my tent and just kept refolding them but I must not have noticed when they stepped off of it. I will prob end up lining the entire area and just buying more towels. What would you say are my necessities for mobile besides my machine, tent and solution ? (singular tans and parties) Thank you for your response.

Re: Sticky feet

I have been buying the cardboard sticky feet and they work well and are the cheapest. I dont charge my clients extra for them as other salons do. However, making your own sounds like a great idea also! Thank you!

Re: Sticky feet

Thank you itsmeamg. That's exactly what i needed to know. I found them for .50/pair at the spray tan super store. The cheapest I found so far but now I know they work fine.

Re: Sticky feet

I've posted this before, but I buy a BIG roll of black contact paper from discountschoolsupplies.com, and I cut them into rectangles big enough to cover the feet. Works great.

for mobile I would suggest carrying prep spray, roll of paper towels , hair ties, shower caps, a blowdrier, extra cup with lid, and a good cart to organize it all. I Also carry folders, one for my business license, waivers, and a flyer for post tan care . Also carry cards with you .
