Maxi Mist Plus Setting

I am currently using the Maxi Mist Plus with the Pro Gun and Sjolie solution . I tried resetting the psi because it was leaving my clients to sticky afterwards and using to much solution . After closing it all the way I turned 5 half turns counterclockwise last night. It was still using approx 4 oz of solution on a very small person. Any other suggestions?
TIA

Re: Maxi Mist Plus Setting

I currently have a Maxi Mist Plus. I have never used more then 2.5 oz of solution . Maybe it's your spraying technique? How many times do you spray the client? If it's spraying that much you might want to even try turning the psi 2.5 times and try that out.

I just got my maximist pro today and I've only read what was with it, I haven't actually sprayed anyone yet, but it said in the material to turn it to the off position and then you only need to turn it 1/4 to 3/4 of the way to spray someone. It even said that after 3 turns, it's not going to spray out any harder. If you figure out a perfect PSI, please share and I'll do the same.

Re: Maxi Mist Plus Setting

Last night when I sprayed I set it at 4 half counterclockwise turns. I sprayed a size 14 woman and still used almost 100ml (4oz). However she did say she did not feel near as sticky as before. I'm gonna turn it down some more a d try. I'll keep you all updated.

Re: Maxi Mist Plus Setting

My suggestion is add water to the cup and spray on a piece of cardboard to see the area of spray. it should only be about 4" wide. I use the same machine and I only use about 1-2oz on that size client it would be abit more but 4oz seems like to much is spraying out. Call the manufacturer....they are great!!
