Rep Power: 0 | NEED A DARK SOLUTION I have used Sjolie, Ocean, and Norvell solutions. I have found Norvell double dark to be the best - it doesn't specify but i assume the DHA is a 12 or 14 and it has double the double the cosmetic bronzers. Only problem is, its expensive. I tried Sjolie 14 percent - several bottles, and NONE of them turned me dark- it was comparable to a 9%. I have been searching EVERYWHERE for a solution that is really dark and not so expensive. All my clients also love Norvell double dark - but they too want to be darker. Thankyou! |

They also have a new solution out- Black Out. It's intended for body builders I believe, but you could try it on those wanting darker than the Double Dark. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: NEED A DARK SOLUTION I just ordered Natural Glow's - 12.75% and some bronzing/dha drops with it. All the reviews are really good on it so ill have to try it out. I have heard about Black Out as well and it is more expensive unfortunately. I have the most affordable tans guaranteed in my city and i do free double dipping, therefore i don't make a lot of profit using Norvell. Thanks |

Rep Power: 16 | Re: NEED A DARK SOLUTION Most affordable doesn't equal better. If you're doing free double dips, that's your mistake. Why would you not charge for an ADDED service? I do charge a little more for the ONE and Black Out solution , as they do cost a bit more. For all my other Norvell sprays, I charge $32/person. I just ordered a new ever fresh box today- Charging $32/spray, I'll have that box paid for in 4 sprays. Maybe you need to re-work a few things. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: NEED A DARK SOLUTION Well tans around my area are about $25, and so i charge $20 - and i've got a lot of business because i am the cheapest. If i charged 32, i'd lose the majority of my clients. But i have stopped doing free double dips because i almost think the more solution , the more uneven the fading is |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: NEED A DARK SOLUTION Hi there... I am also located in the Kansas City area. I have been in business since 2008. Have you been doing spray tans for awhile? If you are just starting out, it might be good to keep your prices low and offer an introductory special, but if you have experience and feel comfortable that you do a good job for your clients, I would highly recommend raising your prices. People are willing to pay for quality. |
