We have been talking about the pros and cons of certain solutions. It's almost like in a perfect world we would have the solution that does exactly everything we want it to. So here's my idea...let me know if you think it's crazy or not. For instance, poeple like how long Sjolie lasts, but don't like how it's not dark enough. And some poeple like Oceans, but say it doesn't last as long. What if I sprayed someone with Sjolie first, dried them off and then did a double dip with the Oceans? Is that totally crazy or a good idea? Has anybody tried using 2 different solutions in that kind of way? If so, what was the outcome? In theory it sounds like a really awesome idea. |

I sprayed myself once with 9% sjolie (i usually do 12) and then a day after sprayed 10% oceans, it was very dark, and very bronzy...i am kinda fair so it wasnt the outcome i wanted...i just wanted it more brown..i notice that with ocean btw, it gets almost orange of you overspray..as for sjolie just gets browner (even if the color is less intense) and thats why i stick with it...so if you find any solution that just gets more brown let me know! :) |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Does anybody here like Oceans solution? Dietcokeforever- I am disappointed that it didn't work out so well for you. I am relatively fair also. I am still thinking of trying to do the 2 different solutions though. Let's see, you tried Sjolie 9% and Oceans 10%? Is that right? (I can't remember). Does Sjolie have anything lighter than 9%? I was thinking I could do lighter than 9% and then 8.5% of Oceans a day later. Who knows, it might be worth trying! The worst thing that could happen is that I will look bad for a couple of days so I will hide out at home! I can't try it until I buy some Sjolie though, which might be in the next couple weeks or so. Trust me, if I ever find anything that is nice and brown, I will be sure to tell you dietcokeforever, and everybody else too! I think that is probably the hottest topic on these boards! |

I've bought my gun, my tent, all the little accessories, the only thing left is the solution . Right now I've got a few samples of Artesian Tan's samples that came with the gun. Tomorrow I'll start playing with the training solution I bought and go from there. I really want to try Vani T, but it sure is expensive. I also think I need to buy different levels of DHA. I'm fair skinned, I don't want to get too dark. I've read that that's when you turn orange, when you try to go too dark. And most of my guiney pigs are lighter, except one who is Puerto Rican. On her, I think the dark is the first one I'll try on her, then if she wants to be darker, I'll try the very dark on her. Does that sound like a good idea? And am I right about the orangish look if you try to go too dark? |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Does anybody here like Oceans solution? tanerin thnk you for keeping me in mind! yes Sjolie makes 6%!! And i never ever go orange from going too dark with sjolie, with oceans I get very brown in the beginning and if i go too dark oceans gets an orangy sheen-some people notice it (the trained eye) and some do not...and thts what happened when i mixed sjolie 9 and oceans 10... |

I am excited to try...but I pretty much feel like it will be too orangey looking. But I am feeling adventurous!! I will let everyone know my results when I get a chance to actually do it in a couple of weeks when I get some new solution maybe! |
