Rep Power: 15 | Spraying Hands Ok. I know most people and myself do the "bear Claw" with 1 spurt of solution . I am perfecting it however I find the tips of the fingers and sides of the hands do not get any solution . That does not look that great especially on very pale clients Do you hold the gun above the top of the hand or a little lower towards the nails? |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Spraying Hands Online training. And even though it's online it's VERY informative and easy to learn. The way Norvell taught me to spray is exact opposite of Aviva's technique. I must say though, Aviva's technique takes longer. Norvell teaches to spray the body in an up and down technique, Aviva teaches a side-to-side technique and body mapping. Norvell teaches to do the bear claw and arc over the hands, doubling ur spraying distance. Aviva teaches a feathering technique, as you're moving down the length of the arm arc ur sprayer off into space to employ the feathering technique to prevent spraying too heavily on tops of the hands and fingers. Rep Power: 15 | Re: Spraying Hands Thanks. I wish I had the $ to take one of them but will soon. I spray up and down now. I did a search here on "feathering" and found informative info. Thanks Which course would you recommend between the 2? |

Rep Power: 14 | Re: Spraying Hands I tan from the top of the arm down towards the hand & when I get to the wrist I "flick" the gun & let up on the trigger for a lighter spray. I tan the arm in three downward paths so a portion of the hand is covered in each path. The hands look great & the "flick" keeps the solution coverage lighter on the hand portion. My "flick" may be someone else's "feather" I'm not sure :-) I was trained by Mandy owner of Jamaica Me Tan & Airbrush Tanning by Mandy and loved all the tricks she taught me during live training. |
